I am not saying that I cut, I just feel that it is wrong to scold it, because it could make things worse for the person at hand. Scolding the action of self harm instead of simply asking what's going on and asking if there is anything you can do to help is counteractive, and the person will only end up doing it behind your back.
Why is it bad? If the person isn't bleeding out from it, and it is used as an escape, then although someone else may not like it, why does it give them the right to scold a cutter? And what about the people who talk about how "cutters are losers, and if you want results, cut vertically"?
I'm going to do a more realistic argument here. Cutting is scolded by friends and family because it hurts THEM to see the person cutting be in so much pain, psychologically and physically. Also, when you cut, (sources are some people I know) you don't really feel any better, you feel worse. Please vote con, even though I'm sure I'll lose lol.
