DS's are fun on long debate trips

DS's are fun on long debate trip because they provide great interainment. they are small so they are easy to carry seeing as they are small they can also link together for multiplayer games. DS's also have a fairly long charge so they are good for trips, they also have many games . and as an advantage if you bring multiple DS's you can lend them out to substantly increase your popularty.

Counterplan: People should bring Zunes, Ipods, cards, or Camera's. Debaters like music more than DS's. Also, Only certain DS games link. Some games require more than one cartridge, and don't solve. Although DS's are fun, singing songs is more fun. It lets more people communicate, and increases your popularity MORE than a DS. DS's increase nerdiness. Now, on to my Disad

If too many people buy DS's, Nintendo will take over the world. They already have taken over the gaming universe.

what is the status of your counterplan?

debaters might like music better but might not all like the same music and if you play a song someone dosnt like it will desreas your popularity. and just because some ds games dont link dosnt meant they all dont. for some games you only need one person with a linking catridge to link so it dose solve. you cant be sure all the people will like the same mucis creating judgemental thoughts and opinions against people who like diffrent music and all while decreasing your popularity, this can also hurt a debate team and ruin a trip.

Our CP is dispositional.

The same thing applys to DS's. You can't be sure everyone likes the same games. I know people who HATE mario kart, but love Pokemon. This would create judgemental thoughts ALSO, because some people think certain DS games are kiddy, and will judge people. This hurts the reputation of the DS Owner

My disad has harms. People buy DS's, Nintendo Gets money, they take over the world.

Also, to add to my CP, we can do polls, to pick a song. There are many People with Ipods, Zunes, and other MP3 players, while only about 3 people on the team have DS's, and only ONE of them has the games to link.

whe you say "Our CP is dispositional." our refers to more that one person and that is not fair i wouls like to call abuse on this issue.

the same thing dos apply to DS's but compared to singing songe every one has to listen but not every one had to play the DS's. if they dont like the game then they dont have to play as to if people are singing a song they have no choise but to listen.

once again to harms you say that they take over the world but you do not say how they wold do that or why it would be a bad thing.

you can do polls but there is no proof that all will agree ona song. and when you say only 3 people bring DS's are you refering to a specif trip or time? is this debats refering to all debate teams? you dont even give a number for the ammount of people who bring mp3's. it is unjust to caompare all debat teams to just one randome debate team in paticular.

as for slovency they gave no reason why they solve 100% I am not even sure what they are solving for but I on the other hand have 100% solvency for popularty the DS being lent out will caus a rise in popularty to the people whou you lend it out to but also to the ones who see you lending it out giving them a posivite opinion of you

on to probability. they give absoluty no indication of what the probility if for. for all we know they could be talkng about landing on mars. and as for my probability my probility is 100% of increasing the fun on a debate trip. DS's are poritibly and personal so if you dont want to deal with it you dont have to but as for singing a song you will almost always have at least one person that wont like the choosen song

as for him time frame IT WORKES IN MY FAVOR people have been bringing MP3 players longer so they might be getting tired of them and there fore DS's provide a great new way to have fun and increase you popularty

Our does refer to two people, yes(I'm thinkin Policy Debate sry!) But that isn't abuse. Don't vote on that.

1. If they don't like the song, IGNORE IT! They can play cards, listen to OTHER music, and etc!

2. Yes, I said how they will. They get rich from the DS's sold, and then they take over the world with their money. This is bad because they are a GAMING company, and can't manage the world. They could barely manage hotels when they owned them!(around the 80s, in Japan)

3. The MAJORITY will agree on a song. There is no proof that all will agree on the LIMITED choices of DS games! I am referring to HF. I don't know any other schools that do rotations!

4. We solve for entertainment, and its 100%. More people like Music than games. And, games can be seen as kiddy often.

5. The probability is once again entertainment, and people liking it. DS's aren't fun to everyone, some people like PSP's, and some don't like games PERIOD. More ppl hate games in debate than Ipods. You can have at least 2 people who don't like the game being played! And there aren't enough DS's for anyone to play for more than a substantial time. (Which is needed for Soft Power, and popularity)

6. YOU STATED that people have been bringing MP3's longer, so my timeframe is better! You can't get tired of it, more music comes out each day. DS's are new, but not enough people have them, and WHEN enought have them, we will all die.
