Democratic Socialism in this debate will be defined as the policies and ideas sold to the public by Bernie Sanders which he called Democratic Socialism throughout the Democratic Primaries. I will gladly accept the debate if you can better define democratic socialism.
Democratic socialism is socialism that wants a democratic state. Sanders is a social democrat. He wants a capitalist welfare state. That isn't socialism.
