Diamond should be much, much more cheaper.

MASTERY

Con

Welcome to this debate.
First round is for defining and last round is for concluding. I define diamond as "a metastable allotrope of carbon, where the carbon atoms are arranged in a variation of the face-centered cubic crystal structure called a diamond lattice" pictured like
A clear octahedral stone protrudes from a black rock..
I define much, much more cheaper as "easily affordable by a standard household without debt, for example, $10 /per carat".

I accept.

Con

Thank you for accepting my debate.

So, why should diamond remain at its price? Say, if its price surges down, diamond producer businesses will lose money. In turn, they will not produce diamond, thus destroying its worth all together. Many diamond investors would lose lots of money as well, giving way to a pure financial crash. This financial crash will damage the economy severely.

Thank You.

Where can you check the time limit and character limit?

This is precisely the reason why I always double check the time and character limit before accepting. x)

If the time limit is shorter than 15 min (10&5) I will enter "SHORT_TIME" into the comments.

That's why Please keep at least 15 min time limit. Even I experienced a similar problem.

Oh dang I wasn't expecting this to be a 5 minute debate. I was writing up another argument for a different debate and by the time I came back to this one it was already over. Oh well XD
