Did the Manned Moon Landings Really Happen?
Debate Rounds (3)
In the first round, please clearly define your position on the matter, all rounds afterwards will be use as points and counter-points.
I believe that all Apollo moon missions were real, and that all missions (other than 13) made it to the moon and back, and that all of the footage and physical evidence (such as the moon rocks.) are legitimate.
Good luck to you!
Also, the filming equipment seen in the astronauts helmets was real filming equipment, but equipment that the astronauts brought with hem to the Moon to film the events. If you look at the way that the dust is being kicked up by the astronauts boots, it creates a 'rooster tail' effect of bending before falling back to the ground slowly, that effect is impossible to replicate in earths gravity. So thereby must have been filmed on the Moon
Another piece of controversial evidence is the angle of the shadows in the film. Since the Moon has only one light source, the sun, all shadows should run parallel. In the video footage of the moon landing, there are several different angles of shadows cast by rocks and other objects on the moon.
In your argument, you stated that the astronauts had brought filming equipment with them to the moon. If you examine the filming tool in the helmet's reflection, it appears to be suspended, something that could only be feasible in a studio on earth. You also stated that the 'rooster tail' effect cannot be created in earth's gravity, but it did not have to be under earth's gravity if it was replicated using special effects and even filming in gravity conditions equal to the moon. Based on this evidence, the moon landing was a hoax.
