Personal I think the answer is quite clear. Of course they have knees just look at their skeleton.


But the Penguins waddle around! Plus if you've ever seen them head into water, they usually waddle to the edge and just slip or slide in instead of jumping inside. That is why they get speed before they slide.

Penguins do have somewhat of a knee, but it isn't as functional or used as ours, they use it to swim but that is about it. Also Penguins have very small legs, which makes them waddle In conclusion it will be rare to see a penguin get an arrow to a knee.
