I believe that advertisments fool people in to believing that the next and improved product will make their lives better,however,people are even more unhappy and dissatisfied than they would have been without the advertisments

Not always.

Most people probably just tune out advertisements or watch them with their brain turned off. Ads just aren't very persuasive to the average person.

You'd have to be pretty impressionable to get all upset over an advertisement.

Many individuals contend that advertisments contribute to happiness but simply it does the opposite for example : advertisments are showing us that fertilizersvhelps the weed to grow and show us only the +ve effects of the fertilizers . However, fertilizers harm the environment and will hurt us too. So how are we going to live a happy life while watching those advertisments

I'm a little confused. Are you arguing that commercials always have a negative effect on people or just that commercials affect people emotionally in some way (good or bad)?
