Yes, I strongly stand by that grades do measure intelligence of a person. Looking for ward to see you justify yourself so that I can rebut your points. All in the sport of debate :D

Grades do not measure intelligence but one thing they do measure and that is how much a person can cram just before the exam and just vomit it out on the paper.

Cheyenne; You always reply to my comments, that's not a bad thing, but lol. Wisdom is having knowledge, intelligence is the ability to apply that knowledge to good use. You can look it up.

Depends on how you look at it, a smart man would do his work in school right. I see grades as summing up your intelligence, and factor responsibility. Intelligence can be seen has recalling the information, and putting it to good use.

Grades do not measure intelligence, they measure the ability to recall information which is the basic form of thinking. Babies recall information. Also, intelligence doesn't only apply to "book smarts". Studies show that individuals have wide range of intellect and some are immeasurable with assessment. So, therfore, no, grades cannot measure all forms of intelligence.

Intelligence is defined by a number of things. Above all, grades measure the ability to retain information-which is simply one form of intelligence.
