The Qur'an (Koran) COMMANDS Muslims to make war agaisnt Jews and Christians.
The theory and practice of "Jihad" was taken from the Koran: It is the divinely ordained duty of ALL Muslims to fight in the literal sense until man-made law has been replaced by God's law, the Sharia, and Islamic law has by force conquered the ENTIRE WORLD!!. Killing innocent civilians is allright if they are aiding the enemies of Islam. But, American Muslim spokesmen have said it is forbidden by Islam. 9-11 has shown which is true for most Muslims: KILL ALL NON-MUSLIMS! Who are Muslims loyal to: America. Or Islam? By the way, Mr. Obama, I understand, is a Muslim. You can conquer a nation from within if enough Muslims are voted into political office. Then they can change laws to their favor, influence the young and others to join them and undermine our constitution. Do not believe this cannot happen! But remember: they cannot defeat us militarily if we are united as Americans.
When America began to be ACTUALLY it's own country, the whole point of being independent was so there was no judgement and no stigma against other people. Just because of where a person is born does not mean they are like those that poison their society. A person is not born bad, but they grow to do bad things. Because of a group of people who made bad decisions, Americans have gained a fear of a whole nation. This is not fair, because we have been taught to not judge, and to also forgive. Not allowing Moslems into America based solely on the fact that they are Moslem is crazy, unethical, and un-American. Judging them because of their national religion is like saying all Americans are Christian; it is simply untrue. Even those Moslems who practice Islam are not "crazy" people. When everything comes down to one point, people have to realize that not ever Moslem is Osama bin Laden. Notever Moslem wants killings and power. Keep an open mind. |

Reverend Wright. At a Christian Church. Ergo, not Muslim.
Why are 0.005% of Muslims considered the majority in this statement?
Who are Christians loyal to: America. Or Christianity?
Con wins.
Actually, no. Most Nazis were Christian. There were certainly agnostic and even neo-pagan Nazis. There wasn't a strict adherence to religion. Although, belief in Christianity was part of the Nazi Party Platform (article 22, if memory serves). A large reason for the racial hatred of Jews was based on religious reasons dating from the middle ages. They were the Christ-killers, greedy and slimy, and fomenting this hatred on racial as well as religious grounds served the Nazis well. Most of the top Nazis were Catholic including Hitler, none of whom were ex-communicated, save Goebbels (he married a protestant). Much of Nazism was taken from far-right Catholic views.
I wouldn't attribute Nazism to religious reasons as there's no direct lines between the two but trying to pawn off the movement on agnostics and neo-pagans when they were a minority (> 10%), but not excluded, is unjustified and revisionist history.
kcraine's point is accurate, the group was largely Christian, and blaming the actions of the Nazis on Christians would be just as fair as blaming terrorism on Muslims. - You may assign blame accordingly.
Although, I believe, if not for the logic behind religious martyrdom (even with prohibitions against such actions), crashing planes into buildings is a much less reasonable thing to do than attempting a conquest of Europe. In the former you are going to die, unless you're getting rewards after death (or think you are), that's a bad course of action.
I'll probably vote Con, but wouldn't stake my life on it.
Humans are apes. Oddly enough there's no justifiable grouping which includes chimps, bonobos, gorillas and orangutans and does not include humans.
>>The "missing link" that shows man evolving from apes has never been found.
There are a large number of links found from the time of the human-chimp to modern humans. We specifically focus on finding these fossils and accordingly have a lot of them.
>>Did a mouse change into an elephant?
No. But, according to common descent, they certainly have a common ancestor. Though, there is an extinct species of elephant found in Cicily which was about the size of a dog (isolation on islands tends to cause animals to become dwarfed). Also, there is a species called an elephant shrew (which looks like a shrew with a trunk and relates more closely with elephants than rodents). Elephants are the last living family of the order Proboscidea, mice are order Rodentia, and shared a common ancestor about 82 million years ago.
>>Did a dog become a horse?
No. But, according to common descent, they certainly have a common ancestor. The two probably shared a common ancestor about 63 million years ago (both are Laurasiatheria).

>>Logically, scientifically it fails.
Scientifically it's the cornerstone of biology.
