The influence of television music: whenever a teen gets pregnant , does drugs, uses foul language or commits crime a certain TV shows and popular songs get the blame. The question is, is it really the television or music should be put to blame?
Yes- The music a teen listens to or the shows he/she watches aren't directly at fault. However, they do have a great influence on a teen's actions. They can affect a teen's clothing style, attitude, personality, and goals in life. Which in return, have an effect on the decisions they make in social situations and the people they hang out with. For example, the song "Planez" by Jeremih ft. J. Cole, is about sex, drugs, and has explicit language. This song is very popular with teens right now. I've noticed that a lot of teens are more open to sex-related conversations and have no problem talking about weed. They learn these things from popular music and TV shows.
