Yes, i totally agree. TV serials mainly demoralize students..

I accept. I believe that the effect of TV serials is, overall, not negative.

I would just like to point out the definition of a serial is:

    1. A story or play appearing in regular installments on television or radio or in a magazine or newspaper.

Therefore movies and short series are not relevant to the debate.

The BoP is on my opponent to prove that the effects of TV serials is negative, I must only disprove her contentions in order to disprove the resolution.

I look forward to my opponents arguments.

Well I was just going to base by case around disproving my opponents contentions. But seeing as I have nothing to disprove, I guess I should put forward some arguments of my own.

First of TV serials are not negative because they allow students a chance to escape to lands filled with talking elephants, magical corn people, and flying wildebeest, where they can feel safe and loved.

Also, if kids stay inside and watch TV all day then they don't have time to run around the neighborhood, doing drugs, drinking, and pushing old ladies over.

If it weren't for TV serials society would lose the social glue that holds it together. If their are no TV shows then what are people going to talk about as they're standing around the water cooler?

Also, TV series tell students what they should say and how they should behave, so that they never have to think for themselves, and have more time to focus on schoolwork.

The End.
