I don't believe this is true. I'm looking forward to this debate because there are so many different opinions about this topic.

I believe that Video games in fact, do affect how a child learns. When they play a specific video game, they may be up all night playing that game, and when its time for school, that child is tired. Another reason is that video games rot your brain. The child will be all up into the game, that that child will forget about school and homework and play that game. Another reason is that video games these days can get a little violent. Thats why many children are attached to that specific game. Thats why they may not be learning anything. They will be learning how to play that specific game. My last reason is that when that child is learning, that child may not even be paying attention. That child may be thinking all about video games.
