Violent video games do cause behavior problems.
David.Cameron

Con

No. There has been no conclusive link demonstrating that violent video games cause behaviour problems.

A 2012 longitudinal study looking at the behavioural development of 165 teenagers over the course of 3 years found that when pre-existing emotional, family and social problems were accounted for, any aggression-increasing effects of playing violent video games disappeared. Pro

A study has shown if a teenager gets addicted to a violent video, he/she is more likely to commit a crime or murder than a child who does not play these type of games.
David.Cameron

Con

A study once found a correlation between owning a cat and depression (http://www.plosone.org...). We can't make sweeping conclusions based on studies that have inconsistent and contradictory results. The jury is still out.

Upon reflection, I want to make an additional point. Most countries implement ratings systems that keep violent games out of the hands of impressionable youth. Beyond this, extend my previous arguments.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct to CON for ff. Arguments to con because CON made more noteworthy and consistent arguments, while PRO made one poor argument. Sources to CON as well simply because CON was the only one to use sources to support their argument. Well done CON!
