As a population we are constantly increasing and decreasing in growth. As a result, the Constitution requires that a census be done every ten years to count the people of each state as well as a nation. Those state census numbers are used to determine how many congressional seats each state obtains or loss due to redistricting the population. The reason that gerrymandering exist is because the population is always changing so redistricting has to be done, but district lines can be draw unfairly to favor one party or the other for political power in congress. Gerrymandering is judged negatively because it does not equally representation the people by their districts; for example in Long Island the new lines that split minority communities in two different districts making it harder for minorities to speak as one voice and the situation in Anamoso, Iowa where a prison population was used as padding; which give much influence when it came to redistricting; even though 96% for the distract was not allow to vote and other districts had 25 times more real residents; people in Anamoso felt unequally represented. We know that the reason gerrymandering happens; is for political power for both parties. During redistricting congressman can be resistant to change and resistant to public opinion because they are in "safe districts"; which are districts that are meticulously to make them safe so they will almost always get re-elected. The number of seats given to either a Republican or a Democratic in each state represents how politicians win control of the House. In states where gerrymandering is indisputably seen on maps where the peoples voices have been diluted with unfair lines. In the long run using gerrymandering helps win seat for either party at one moment in time, but in the future it limits the power for either the Republican or Democratic to make a change for the people; the parties that will represents you for the next decade. Like in Long Island; the community had a message for all that stated "my message is going to be keep our communities together and keep our communities as one voice and keep our community strong".

I am going to be Con with you , you are correct about gerrymandering because the lines are never fair and they pay to get certain lines a way. Favoring a party is wrong of them to do and they need to play fair game in order to keep the community happy. Our population changes every year I think they should start renewing the map every election year instead of every ten because that way the population number will be up to date. Everyone that disagrees with gerrymandering would say that they feel ignored and their voices are not being heard, that is why some of us have confusion with the voting system. We trying protesting this but it will not work because they will eventually only care for their own good. This benefits the Republican Party because they win in the long run. These unfair lines for every district are not the right way to settle the votes because each citizen should have to be able to know that their vote is being taken for granted. If gerrymandering ever is stopped America will be a democracy and the citizens will feel accompanied by the government.

Well I know one formula for a definite answer to this if Gerrymandering is X and the people all say no but one congressman says yes and so Garry mandarin Gets attacked by our rifle squad any way , no it's not a Democracy it is opposite so if their lib think con inde think lgrn , naacp think American Civil Liberties Union , the balsavich revolution , Leninism , Marxism see at least these guys had enough sense to try a method and change it if it didn't work we got so many parties that their isn't a representative that would even carry 1/5 our votes.
