Pro

This is an extract From the recently discovered 1591 draft of Shakespeare"s An Excellent conceited Tragedie of Romeo and luliet

I found this version of Romeo and Juliet exciting as it gives us an insight into Juliet's emotions

Con

As the con side in this debate, I must go against the resolution "Do you like this 1591 version of Romeo and Juliet", and since the Pro has not actually given any arguments, all I can say is no.

I don't like this 1591 version of Romeo and Juliet.

As you can see, Pro has conceded with me by saying "well said", so therefore there should be no doubt in your mind as to vote con. Thank you.

Reasons for voting decision: Pro didn't advance any real arguments, and the resolution is phrased as a matter of taste, making genuine debate impossible from the outset.
