First round is acceptance. Tickle Me Elmo does not promote rape because even though you tickle him when he doesn't want to be tickled, Elmo is a toy and does not resemble another person in any way.

Prove me wrong.
TheHitchslap

Pro

I accept.
What kind of sick, twisted, nasty toy encourages little boys to 'touch him' only to exclaim 'OH BOY! THAT TICKLES!'
Last time I herd that line was in court observing a priest being jailed.
Also it is against the bible:
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they draw to themselves teachers, having itching ears;" 2 Timothy 4:3

Ironic isn't it? TIMOTHY? TICKLING? LUSTS!?!

I say DEVILS at work here.

I rest my case!

No cases of rape have been directly linked with Tickle Me Elmo by the police.

WHAT KIND OF NASTY JERK SUPPORTS THOSE KINDS OF PEOPLE?!?!?!?!(above)

I rest my case. You sir, have some sick fantasies. DDO is not a place for said fantasies.

I still see no argument to support the notion that Tickle Me Elmo promotes rape.

Would you as a parent want THIS Elmo near your children?
That's what I thought!

A vote for me is a vote against a person who created a debate with a painfully easy BOP!

Firstly: Tickle Me Elmo quite literally asks you to tickle him; unless Elmo is drunk, that isn't rape.
Secondly: Who even thinks it does? Are there people who are that stupid in the world? D:

Reasons for voting decision: God, this is such a stupid topic. Did you really expect a serious response to this? You didn't make any arguments whatsoever, though that really doesn't matter, since the topic is automatically a troll topic. You may as well ask if sleeping with teddy bears promotes bestiality, if playing with barbie dolls promotes eating disorders, or if playing with transformers creates robot fetishes. Okay, rant over. :P

Reasons for voting decision: Meh. Con's arguments were pretty much assertions, and while Pro's were not much better if I were operating in a vacuum, Pro's arguments probably would have been more convincing than Con's.
