Does age matter in relationships? As long as both individuals are of legal age I believe it makes no difference of what the individuals ages are.

I thank my opponent for instigating this debate; however, the resolution does not clearly show which side I will be arguing for in this debate, since it is a question rather than a statement.

BOP-

Judging from my opponent's previous statements, I am assuming she is arguing that age does not play a role in relationships.

I, Con, on the other hand, will be arguing that age does play a role in relationships.

I am assuming the first round is for acceptance, and I will allow my opponent to precede with her arguments.

It seems that my opponent has forfeited this round. That is understandable, considering the amounts of debates she is doing; therefore, I shall give her a chance to redeem herself and wait until next round to post my arguments and/or rebuttals.

My opponent has forfeited yet again. I am feeling particularly nice today; therefore, I shall give my opponent yet another chance to redeem herself in the next round. Should she fail to produce any arguments, then I will proceed with my own.

I'll post my argument this round. It is relatively simple and short, but I believe that it should be sufficient enough to win me this debate, considering my opponent made virtually no arguments and has forfeited ever round (with the exception of R1).

As I stated in R1, I will be arguing that age does play a role in relationships. I will not be arguing if they should play a role in relationships, but that they do play a role in relationships. Most people in today's society would find it strange if a 20 year old started to date a 90 year old. Clearly, this is an uncommon phenomena that rarely ever happens. Since this is the case, age does play a role in relationships.

I think it is right what you are saying as long as both people are of an appropriate age (depending on your country) then it should be perfectly fine, we are told by our peers do what you can to make yourself happy anif being with someone with an age gap (as long as its legal in your community) does it for you then its fine:)

There aren't any inherent problems, but there would be issues indireclty caused by the age difference, the same kind of generational gap that happens with your parents as far as TV, music, etc.

Really? I guess 1 year olds are the equivalent of 50 year olds in relationships.
