Children should get more time for recess. Imagine how well they would do in school. Recess is when our brains get time to relax and process the information they have recived in the morning. Also, it gives time to finish homework for the class after lunch, or for tomorrow.

Well, first of all , I admit that more time for recess do post influence on students' school work. but based on the point you argue , I assume you are more likely to say that increasing the time will improve students' academic preformance and thus have a positive effect on them.
However, I would like to argue that it does not necessarily mean that the more time you give to the students, the more productive they will be for their school work.
First, provided that there is a certain amout of time given to students for recess which will be scientically enough for their physical well-being ,so the extra time for them to relax would render unnecessary in this case.
Second, most of the student especially those in primary or secondary school lack self-discipline and autonomy for their own behaviour. So if they are just given more free time to do whatever they want instead of more valuable instrustions ,they will end up muddling around and playing more with the electronic devices which will definitely do harm to them and cannot help relieve the stress in their study.
Therefore, just like The Gaussian distribution , the more time you provide for recess, the less efficient the students could be in their school work!
