School is to learn about things you never knew or sometimes have to review! Most think that school is a waste of time! But this make school rejoice or just another childhood memory?!

Like it or not, the American school system is broken. I don't necessarily love school, but I definitely don't hate it. I believe this point of view will allow me to propose my argument, without being overly biased.

As of right now, students spend about 7 hours a day in the school building, with even more hours of homework. I understand that homework is an essential part of education, however other countries have been successful in eradicating homework, while at the same time maximizing their students success.

Inherently, school is not bad. However, we have a broken system. Under our system, we have managed to successfully turn a good thing into a bad thing.

Thanks
