The simple answer is yes, what right do they have to go into a country and force their wishes of an election they can say they where happy with the running of and outcome of. It shows no respect for the people of the country they have gone into. But the same could be said of the UK and US administrations who also meddle in forcing so called democracy on other countries.
I doubt we would be happy if we came under such scrutiny and lets face it our election processes don't always meet with the approval of the people. Sending in the UN is like throwing a grenade into a china shop. It causes more problems than it solves, while it may bring pressure to bear upon the politicians or factions involved it also causes great tension, and the results don't always meet with the UN's approval who are then often powerless to do much about it.
