The president does not have the right to take away our second amendment(the right to bear arms) it is unconstitutional and we as Americans should have the right to protect ourselves especially with how dangerous things are today. there is a possibility that a president could pull an Abe Lincoln and make another amendment to cancel out the second amendment, and he shouldn't have that right. Again, we as Americans have the right to protect ourselves. and i understand there are crazy people out there who have a messed up mindset and massacre people but even if the president were to get rid of the second amendment somehow, there will still be a black market for guns.

I disagree. People should not be allowed to have bear arms.

Bear arms are a danger to our society, they have sharp claws which can cut deeply into flesh. Unfortunately, the number of people who possess bear arms has remained high since the revolution. There are many children too who like the look of fluffy bear arms, they see them and want to buy them. Little do they know, those arms come with claws, with which the child can attack other innocent children. Bear arms pose a national security threat, and therefore they should be banned. If we do not take action now, we risk bear arms taking over our entire society.

And what about the bears, whose arms are being used as a weapon or fashion accessory? Bears need arms, just as we need arms. Without arms, bears cannot live as they do. It is a danger to bears too that we continue to allow people to have bear arms.

I'm sorry Ave-Matthew while I agree with your view the moot is on wether the president had the RIGHT to violate or even ban the second amendment not if it would be a good idea.. Speaking of which of course the president can and for good reason. First you have elected him to lead the people and if the majority agree (which admittedly I don't know yet ) then that would leave him no choice but to. Second there needs to be the choice of abandoning rules where they are no longer nessecary or now in appropriate such as laws which are biased againsts this of different culture or against women heck I have heard that in one country it is still technically illegal to hug in public because APPARENTLY hugging leads to sex...
