Con

Time does not exist. It is figment of a man"s imagination to explain movement and aging.

It appears CultLeader has forfeited. I would simply like to make my argument that Time is actually real as proven by the theory of relativity.

"time is part of the fundamental structure of the universe"a dimension independent of events"

I'd say that space time is real, since time is relative. To a person, time is percieved. So time does exist, the mind can be illusive and alter your perception of it but that isn't reality, just imagination.

well, con, you need actually "falsifiable" claims to support you and not claims based off "faith" to support your side. I personally don't have a side to choose for, but it's going to be hard because you're going to have to rely on no empirical evidence; that's how we've determined our science today.

Time as minutes and seconds is completely man made. Space-time is... well, NOT.

Could you give some definition of time? Because time, on a conceptual level, means aging. Everything that ages experiences time, so, I think it is contradictory to say that time doesn't exist, but things still age.

It's kind of like saying evolution doesn't exist, its just how people explain the diversity of life.

I'm gonna follow this debate cause I've always wondered this question myself. I can't debate it though cause I am not knowledgeable about the topic enough.
