Does victory means success?
Debate Rounds (3)
Victory, according to Merriam Webster, is "the overcoming of an enemy or antagonist," and success, again according to Merriam Webster, is "obsolete."
Therefore, in a manner of speaking, to be victorious (or the word victory) and to be successful (or the world success) are the same thing.
For example, if you achieve victory, are you also successful; conversely, if you achieve success, are you experiencing victory?
