First round: acceptance

Rounds 2-5: anything goes.

I will take the pro side and must prove Donald Trump is not a Nazi.

I accept this challenge. I am going forth under the assumption that debate is not that Donald trump is associated with nazism but has nazi like characteristics. These characteristic are
1.Building on a charismatic leader
2.Inventing common enemies
3.Attempt to re-model based on extreme nationalism, racism and war
4.Gains followers by propaganda and lies
5.Attempt to take liberties away rather than granting liberties by allowing only certain people and behaviors to be acceptable
He works by playing off people's hate and struggles in a way that is more likely to cause civil war and totalitarian than democracy and peace. I believe he does this not for any specific ideology but for his own grandissement. He may not be intending to cause the potential catastrophes he may ensue if he continues but he is potentially leading us all over a very dangerous precipice.
Debate Round No. 1

If one uses objective discernment and study, they will see that Trump actually has stood against the Nazi agenda. The Nazi ideology came directly from Islam, which Muslims do not deny or see as a negative thing. Typically Muslims don't think of Hitler in a negative light because they had a shared ideology of conquest, genocide, and a hatred for the Jews.

Adolph Hitler was a full blown Socialist, and he wanted people loyal fully in sacrifice to the state and dependant on the state. Trump is the opposite. He speaks against Socialism and is 100% a full blown billionaire Capitalist, an ideology that excludes dependance on the state.

Adolph Hitler demanded women stay home and let the man work. Trump has women working for him in high ranking positions.

Hitler took over the churches, installing "Nazi priests" to preach the Socialist agenda. Trump has supported freedom of the church from the government.

Hitler started up the "Hitler Youth" as a concept designed to brainwash the children into the Nazi ideology early in life. Trump has no such idea brought to the table.

Adolph Hitler was hellbent on conquest of other nations. Donald Trump has never suggested we conquer another nation.

Adolph Hitler suggested and acted out the genocide of a group tallying 5 million mass murders. Trump has not suggested any type of genocide or acted any out.

Adolph Hitler are/were so vastly different in ideology that essentially they were opposites. What were their ideologies? What did/do they believe? What/did they protect and respect at their core?

Here is a video describing the Grand Mufti, Mohammad Amin al-Husayni relationship.

Let's look at Adolph Hitler vs Donald Trump on Christianity AND on Islam.

Adolph Hitler had been raised in the Christian faith, but in his time as Fuhrer, it became openly apparent that he hated Christianity. There are numerous quotes attributed to him that were completely anti-Christian. He also began praising Mohamidism(Islam) and having meetings with Islamic leaders. He called on the Grand Mufti to

"You see, it's been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn't we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion (Islam) too would have been more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?"
-Adolph Hitler

"The best thing is to let Christianity die a natural death. A slow death has something comforting about it. The dogma of Christianity gets worn away before the advances of science... The instructions of a hygienic nature that most religions gave, contributed to the foundation of organized communities. The precepts ordering people to wash, to avoid certain drinks, to fast at appointed dates, to take exercise, to rise with the sun, to climb to the top of the minaret — all these were obligations invented by intelligent people. The exhortation to fight courageously is also self-explanatory. Observe, by the way, that, as a corollary, the Moslem was promised a paradise peopled with sensual girls, where wine flowed in streams — a real earthly paradise. The Christians, on the other hand, declare themselves satisfied if after their death they are allowed to sing hallelujahs! ...Christianity, of course, has reached the peak of absurdity in this respect. And that's why one day its structure will collapse. Science has already impregnated humanity. Consequently, the more Christianity clings to its dogmas, the quicker it will decline."
-Adolph Hitler

"Had Charles Martel not been victorious at Poitiers -already, you see, the world had already fallen into the hands of the Jews, so gutless a thing Christianity! -then we should in all probability have been converted to Mohammedanism [Islam], that cult which glorifies the heroism and which opens up the seventh Heaven to the bold warrior alone. Then the Germanic races would have conquered the world. Christianity alone prevented them from doing so."
-Adolph Hitler

Trump praises Christianity. A theme to his rhetoric is "protecting Christianity". He has stated that Christianity is under attack, saying "Merry Christmas" needs to come back, and that he "loves evangelicals.

Donald Trump says, “If I’m president, you’re going to see ‘Merry Christmas’ in department stores, believe me.”

"I believe in God. I believe in the Bible. I'm a Christian," he said. He ended by bemoaning the increased use of the term "Happy Holidays" in place of "Merry Christmas" as a sign that Christianity is under attack. As president, he said, he'd reverse the trend."

Why does it matter? The 2 religions are completely opposite as Hitler pointed out. One was built on conquest, and one was built on love even for your enemy. Hitler pointed out that he wished the Germans had Islam as their religion because it was built on conquest and conquering the world. He didn't like Christianity because it was built on mercy, love, and forgiveness. He did not see these as qualities compatable with the victory of world control that he had planned on obtaining.

"But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also."
(Matthew 5:39)

"But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
(Matthew 5:44)

"God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy."
(Matthew 5:7)

Quran (2:244) - "Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things."

Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority.

Quran (4:74) - "Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward."

Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah."

Quran (4:104) - "And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they too suffer pain as you suffer pain."

Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them."

1.Building on a charismatic leader
2.Inventing common enemies
3.Attempt to re-model based on extreme nationalism, racism and war
4.Gains followers by propaganda and lies
5. Attempt to take liberties away rather than granting liberties by allowing only certain people and behaviors to be acceptable.

All are meet here in this video:

Trump is a leader with loyal followers. Who creates enemies out of African Americans, foreigners and unemployed. Promotes bombings of other countries and plays off people's nationalism. He lies about facts and issues to meet his own agenda and to stir loyalty in his base. He prompts violence against those who don't agree. Demands the lose of the freedom and liberties to protest.
Debate Round No. 2

Building on a charismatic leader.

I personally would describe Barack Obama and Bernie Sanders as charismatic. So were John F. kennedy and FDR. Barack Obama used slogan rhetoric often such as shouting, "Yes we can!" and repeating later, "That's not who we are!" Charisma does not make a person a Nazi or Hitler-like.

-Inventing common enemies

I'm not certain who the common enemies are specifically that my opponent is referencing so I'll assume she means Mexicans and Muslims since this seems to be the Liberal argument typically.

"I employ thousands and thousands of Hispanics. I love the people. They're great workers. They're fantastic people and they want legal immigration."

-Donald Trump

"I'll take jobs back from China, I'll take jobs back from Japan. The Hispanics are going to get those jobs, and they're going to love Trump."

-Donald Trump

Mr Trump renewed his accusations that Mexico was deliberately sending criminals across the border.

He said: "Mexico doesn't want to house someone in a prison for 30 years when the US will do it.

"Mexico's leaders are much more cunning and sharper than out leaders. I think border guards know that."

*This is not villifying Mexicans. It's villifying the Mexican leadership and villifying criminals.

-Donald Trump has called for barring Muslims from entering the United States, argued for surveillance of mosques and suggested he’d be open to creating a registry of American Muslims.

*That's fine by me. He can look look into the Christian churches to make sure they are not threatening national security. If either is plotting to bomb, kill, destroy, mass murder, or conduct "rape jihad" I'd like the FBI to get there before it happens. They can survey Atheist churches as well. Doing basic checks on possible extremism is not bigotry. It's common sense. Saying "death to America!" Or "The Americans are infidels who need killed!" Or "We want Sharia not democracy!" From the pulpit is not freedom of speech nor is it freedom of religion. It's a threat to the national security of America. Are all Muslims terrorists? Nope. But because of the nature of the ideology, the percentage of anti-American/anti-West sentiment is greater within this group. That's just badic discernment. Nevertheless, if a Christian preacher or Atheist preacher was conducting anti-American assemblies, behind bars is his proper home.

And this is not just my opinion. I am not alone. A recent poll of 2,000 Muslim voters in six states by the Council on American-Islamic Relations found Trump in third place, after Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, with 11 percent saying they would support him.

Adam Warshauer 37, Muslim said he would support Trump.

Why He’s Voting Trump:

Warshauer says he does not believe Trump wants to ban Muslims from entering the country because of a dislike for them, but because he wants to solve terrorism. “”Most are outraged at Trump saying he wants to ban Muslims from entering America, but I support that as a Muslim person, because we have to stop what is happening and work with other Muslim countries to stop terrorism. If you stop Muslims from entering the country, it forces everyone to look at the problem.”

Raed Hamdan, 41, Muslim supports Trump.

"Is he reckless with what he says? Yes. Is there a lot of cleaning up to do in the country? Yes. Being a billionaire, I can’t see anyone buying him—paying him off to push him in one direction or another. This guy is reckless but at least you know what’s on his mind."

-Nationalism and war

Here is a past article excerpt.

-Billionaire Donald Trump, would like to fire the Bush Administration for its decision to invade Iraq, according to an interview in the August edition "Esquire".

Being nationalist does not make you Hitler-like.

Nationalism definition:

spirit or aspirations common to the whole of a nation.

devotion and loyalty to one's own country; patriotism.

*If someone does not possess these qualities, I don't want them as our President.

-Allowing only certain people and behaviors to be acceptable.

I'm not certain who "certain people" consists of, but some behaviors are not acceptable. If not, we wouldn't have laws or prisons.

-Trump renounced the protest in Chicago.

Freedom of Assembly is a part of the Bill of Rights. specifically says peaceful assemble and protest. These people became violent, screaming obscenities, and drowning out Trump supporters interviewed after the event was cancelled. I condemn the protest because it was not peaceful assembly. Ironically, we haven't seen Trump supporters do this. But we have seen "Black Lives Matter" take over a Bernie Sanders rally and Liberals get violent in mass at a Trump rally. Anti-Trumpers are proving to be the violent Nazis.

Debate Round No. 3

What Donald Trump has done is give a blunt voice to the millions who compose the silent majority. The silent majority politely and in lady and gentleman fashion, stepped back to allow Liberals a voice. What they learned was being nice got them run over, threats to take away their ability to defend their homes, their country and culture taken hostage, free speech villified, patriotism for law enforcement and military dissentegrated, and their religious majority told to take a back seat. Trump is pro veterans, pro law enforcememt, pro Christianity, pro 2nd Amenment, pro free speech, and pro America.

After 8 years of having a President who destroyed the benefits of veterans, villified Christianity while praising another religion, pretended we have no enemies and refused to name them, made lacking healthcare illegal and punishable, villified cops and the military, acted like America should take a back seat to the rest of the world, was anti 2nd Amendment, ignored the suggestions of the FBI and high ranking military officers, and posed a war on the silent majority, the silent majority found a voice in a surprising candidate who actually stands against the Nazi agenda by another name proposed by Obama, Clinton, and Sanders. The silent have becme unsilent, and the Liberals, who preach peace, inact nothing peaceful. The Liberals, who scream free speech for themselves attempt to drown out the free speech of others. The Liberals who scream tolerance have shown to be intollerant.

Liberalism seems moderately mannered, that is of course, until someone disagrees with them. Trump disagrees with them, and should, and Liberals have done anything and everything to villify him. But it hasn't worked. Why? Because the Liberal mindset has become dangerous to the national security of the U.S., and the silent majority sees that Liberalism has crossed the line. Liberalism has become Naziism. But instead of villifying Jews, they vilify Christians. Instead of promoting violence towards Jews, they promote it towards Christians. Prominant Liberal Atheists have called for the end of Christianity as a force in this country. This has become a Nazi agenda hellbent on eradicating Christianity and Christians. Strangely, this same group welcomes Islam with open arms. This proves it isn't a war on religion. It's a war on Christianity. One cannot say "Merry Christmas" without offending a Liberal. We cannot say,"God bless you," without offending a Liberal. We cannot say,"This is a Christian nation," despite 80% of Americans being claiming to be Christian. An 80% Atheist nation would be called an Atheist nation. An 80% Muslim country would be called a Muslim country. It's not offensive. It's reality. Christians have gotten tired of being told to shut up, give up control of the country that they are the majority in when no other group would do so, and being called bigots for standing against the most bigoted of all ideologies and not wanting its fascist influence in their democratic society.

National Socialism (German: Nationalsozialismus), more commonly known as Nazism is the ideology and practice associated with the 20th-century German Nazi Party and Nazi state.

Who is the Socialist again? Donald Trump...or Bernie Sanders? Bernie Sanders.

Liberals are pushing against Donald Trump and settling for another "Red Scare".

Here are protesters at the Donald Trump rally in Chicago. They are tired of Trump's "tough rhetoric" and "insighting violence", so they clashed violently with police, yelled and screamed with violent and racist rhetoric. This was all while screaming that their right to free speech was being destroyed all while having blocked Trump from his free speech by shutting down his rally completely. Who are the Nazis in this video?

And no Trump supporters have disrupted a Clinton or Sanders rally still to date despite Clinton being a part of scandal after scandal after scandal and Sanders preaching Nazi Germany Socialism from the pulpit. It's interesting how that works.

But guess who did threaten to shut down a Bernie Sanders' rally. A full blown Liberal group that uses violence and intimidation to get its way.

Liberalism has caused this "Trump phenomenon". They want to let in a group that we cannot vet preaching religious tolerance to Muslims with one hand while being religiously intollerant of Christians with the other.

Liberals are tolerant of this:

"Death to America!"

"Sharia for the West"(Sharia is anti democracy)

"Conquest, destruction, and violence"

But they were up in arms about this:

Trump isn't the Nazi. He's trying to stop them.

Here is a Liberal video whining and carrying on because "Trump had people giving the Nazi salute". He needs to apologize. Really? I mean, really?

The boyscouts are Nazis?

So Muslims are all Nazis?

Obama's a Nazi? Who knew?

George W. Bush was a Nazi?

Ronald Reagan a Nazi?

Of course not because it's absolute nonsense.

Trump crowd

Hitler crowd

Sieg Heil

Watch this crowd's mannerisms and tell me if an American Liberal demonstration group would have gotten out alive if they had done what they have done at Trump rallies at a Nazi crowd gathering.

Let's get an actual, real taste of the REAL Naziism.

Hitler Hell March

Donald Trump resembles a Nazi in no way, shape, or form. It's an insult to any holocaust survivor to claim any such thing because they faced the real thing.

It sucks that the voting period ended. But its barely an argument. Trump is clearly a nazi.
Posted by Quadrunner 7 months ago

Its psychologically scaring me to see Bernie Sanders defending Donald Trump. I thought I was strong at first, but I'm losing it now. To much contradiction.
Posted by Yeeet2016 7 months ago
This is absurd. Trump has proven that he can create jobs and has done so with his very little debt high profit company. He NEVER said all mexicans were rapists he has stated clearly that "mexicans are great people" in donald trump fashion. But when he called the illegals 'rapists murderes etc' he wasn't wrong. Many of the illegals have been charged repeatedly for such actions. Trump is a great man who has great ideas like his foreign policy plan, his tax plan, trade plan and economy starter. The whole 'HES HITLER' thing is once again absurd.

I'm curious as to If you truly stand on this side or are having an intellectual exorcise. Either, if the argument could be that he is not Hitler like, I'd take con against you. I need to sleep now, but I'd begin tomorrow first thing. ^_^
Posted by brontoraptor 7 months ago
My argument is he is not Nazi-like.
Posted by imnotacop 7 months ago
The issue with this topic is the literal interpretation of it while the accusation of trump "being a nazi" is more accurate in that people mean he's nazi-like.

Naziism: the ideological belief under Adolph Hitler during the 1930's and 1940's.
Posted by brontoraptor 7 months ago
If you think the KKK and Naziism are the same you don't understand Naziism ideology or its history. Look at my Hitler was a closet Muslim debate.
Posted by matt8800 7 months ago
The real question is would Nazis vote for Trump ;)

My quess is yes since he is popular with the KKK.
