Make your first argument in the first round. You don't have to make your speech long, although you can if you want to. Thanks.

My main argument is going to revolve around this simple fact - there is no way that the American people are that stupid, and while he might win over the Republican base, he's got no chance of winning in a general election.

I would like to thank my opponent for accepting this challenge. I would like to apologize for not having enough time for the second round; Christmas often takes up much of my schedule.

First of all, have you noticed that none of the 2016 Presidential Election Candidates actually stand out? Whether intentional or not, stupid comments actually have made Donald Trump more popular, and much more viewed. Without his comments, no one really cares about the fact that he's a billionaire, and no one even really knows about him. Take Predictwise, a reliable source that is used by Microsoft, and was created for this reason. This software predicts the outcome of the Presidential Election, and takes all variables into account: the media, the stupid comments made by Trump, and the benefits that they offer. As Trump makes more and more stupid promises, Predictwise appears to be raising the percentages of his success more and more. Of course, there is little doubt that Hillary Clinton will win the entire thing, but the question was: Donald Trump's stupid comments HELP him in the election. The question was not: Donald Trump's stupid comments will make him WIN the Election. He can make himself be in at least the top three presidential candidates. He has a 32% chance of winning, with Marco Rubio and Hillary Clinton occupying about 50% together. The other candidates take up the rest of the 20%.

Yeah, I agree with y'all.
You all make good points, and Donald Trump is definitely memorable.
However, Hillary Clinton will still win anyway.

Donald Trump much less egotistical than the current POTUS. and he hasn't said anything half as stupid as the current president either. Let's take a look at Obama's "stupid comments."

Here you go...

Your opening comment is such a generalized statement, and most of the things that the media has said that Trump has said have been proven to be lies and terribly twisted. Even the comment about halting immigration were exaggerated by the media and (by the way, the FBI agreed with Trump on that statement.) They obviously know better than the average American.

Trumps comments are more on target than any other candidate, and obviously the "silent," majority of Americans agree with him. (Judging by the current news polls.)

Now, let's take a look at the majority of voters who elected the last president....

That's the mentality of most who are speaking against Trump...

Are you talking about the general election or the Republican primary?

They will, unfortunately, he's using notoriety to be one of the most memorable out of all the candidates. He's clever, I'll give him that, a complete egotistical creep, yes, but I think a lot of idiotic and racist Americans would support him. Even now we're giving him attention, making him more well known. When election day comes, people are going to choose the most memorable candidate, because that's much easier.
