In the community, one's neighbor is the biggest effect on that society. What they say, how they act, why in which they do these particular things- we do not usually know. Our actions are dictated by our surroundings. Our environment tends to shape us majorly throughout life. What effect do recreational drugs and medications have on a community as a whole, now, and in the past. In conclusion, what does that leave for the future?
What has that done to our local economies, and financial habits?

Drugs, this is a broad subject.

"drug (dr$5;g),
1. Therapeutic agent; any substance, other than food, used in the prevention, diagnosis, alleviation, treatment, or cure of disease. For types or classifications of drugs, see the specific name.
See also: agent.
2. To administer or take a drug, usually implying an overly large quantity or a narcotic.
3. General term for any substance, stimulating or depressing, that can be habituating or addictive, especially a narcotic. " [1]

I assume by drugs you mean coffee, meat, dairy, and eggs. As you can see coffee is a drug. Though drugs can also be pharmaceuticals, recreations drugs like marijuana, and supplements. I plan to make my argument that drugs are not good for society and thus not neutral and instead detrimental, contradicting the resolution.

Resolution: Drugs Economic (Not Moral) Effect on Society [neutral]

Caffeine Intoxication

Caffeine intoxication is a condition with signs and symptoms that are directly related to the ingestion of caffeine. The "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders" published by the American Psychiatric Association defines caffeine intoxication as the demonstration of 5 or more characteristic signs of distress or impaired function associated with the consumption of caffeine.
