"Dueling" is defined as "an arranged engagement in combat between two consenting individuals with matched weapons in accordance with agreed-upon rules." I will argue in favor of this up to, and including, the death of participants. As I am the instigator and arguing for a law change, I accept the burden of proof.

Structure:
Round 1 - Acceptance.
Round 2 - Debaters state their case.
Round 3 - Debaters rebut one another's cases made in Round 2.
Round 4 - Debaters defend their cases against rebuttals made in Round 3.
Round 5 - Debaters make closing statements, argue as to why voters should select them.

It seems to be a more recent thing. I only just returned to this site and it seems very much more inactive compared to when I was last here.

Yeah, I joined this site recently, started and accepted multiple debates, and every single time my opponents have just sat on the debate and are running out their time (even on debates that they started). This usual here?

I've noticed this happening in a number of debates.

Quite frustratingly, it looks like my opponent accepted this debate only to not even bother to post his acceptance, let alone any arguments. Recreating this.
