Rules:

1. No trolling, insults, semantics, kritiks, or anything of that nature.
2. Round 1 is acceptance only. (Don't time out round 1. just say "I accept" or something like that)
3. Violation of these rules will be counted as an instant loss.

My stance is that eating meat increases the risk you'll get cancer. With this, whoever accepts this challenge, get ready!

Sorry for my forfeit. With that, I'll present my evidence.

Argument:

After doing studies, the World Health Organization has deduced that eating Processed Meat, as well as types of Red Meat, do in fact increase risk of Colorectal Cancer (http://www.webmd.com...).

"People who eat 3.5 ounces of processed meat a day will have a 36% increased risk of developing colon cancer compared with people who avoid all processed meat, according to the report." Most people eat at least 10 ounces of meat for dinner. This would be over a 100% increase of getting Colorectal Cancer.

I see my opponent says the following: "processed meat cooked on top of skillets and pans are bound to be carcenogenic." And actually, that's a concession saying "Processed meat is carcinogenic, and increase the risk of cancer". With my evidence, and opponent's sad concession, vote Pro.

Most strange, indeed.

Peculiar some may say.

Lame others may label it.

And also... did the contender just accept and abandon this site? I don't like when this happens.

@Zarium "kritik" is a form of argument that challenges a certain mindset or assumption made by the opposing team, often from the perspective of critical theory. I'm not exactly sure what this means either.

I keep seeing a reference of "Kritik" what does this stand for??

Apologies this is not in regards to the debate, but I cannot for the life of me figure it out - do you mean a critic in the comments section providing assistance to an opposing side?
That's the closest i have come to as to its meaning - any clarification you provide would be greatly appreciated!
