Pro

Ebay is better than Amazon.
master_of_debates

Con

Your first statement does not show your evidence, therefore I cannot counter-argue.

Amazon is far better than Ebay because of reliability, where on Amazon, items are sold by manufacturers and companies, while on Ebay anyone could sell and anyone runs the risk of getting ripped off.

What is wrong with the world that art not trust each other anymore? What happened to the early days of Adam and Eve where it was all sunshine and happiness? Truth is, Ebay has a far better layout and not utterly confusing as Amazon.

Con

That's just it! People are not honest, therefore to use the more reliable site would give you the trust that you are buying and that you will be receiving just what you paid for.

The topic of this debate is not whether the layout is better, we are talking in general terms.

Reasons for voting decision: Well, this was a disappointing debate. Arguments clearly go to Con because Pro effectively conceded the case by attempting to change the topic and, in the process, dropping Con's arguments. Conduct was initially a toss-up since it was extremely poor on both sides, but I have to give it to Pro because of Con's ad hominem attack at the end. Neither used sources, so that's a tie. Spelling and grammar was slightly better for Con, but it wasn't significant enough to doll out an additional point.

Reasons for voting decision: Well, what a debate this was... Only one argument in total (point goes to Con). No sources were used. At all. Then Con just goes completely of topic. This was a very 'interesting debate'.

Reasons for voting decision: Nobody used a source. Con had better conduct for attempting to stick to the guidelines and Pro inferred a swear word in the midst of being rude. Con definitely had better S & G. Con had a better argument although neither was great, it was only so due to Pro's misconduct.

Reasons for voting decision: Looks like Pro was trolling. Conduct is a tie just because of the insult at the end. Arguments goes clearly to Con because was the only one trying.

Reasons for voting decision: Pro can barely be said to have made any argument, and what points he may have made were easily rebutted by Con. Pro had BoP and utterly failed in it--this was, I guess, Pro's attempt at trolling? S&G because Pro, with what little he posted, clearly had issues, while Con spent the time to actually type correctly despite how clear it was that his time was being wasted. I'd probably have awarded conduct, too, but Con's insult at the end made it, for me, just barely neutral. Even though I wholly empathize with Con's frustration. No one sourced. As always, happy to clarify this RFD.
