As follows with the opinions of countless philisophes, thinkers, and tenured leaders, we must have an educated electorate to succeed as a democratic republic. Though many people say that compulsory education to vote is not essential, these same people often refrain to comment on issues because they have no expertise of the subject matter, further proving the necessity. Also concerning this, if we restrict felons from voting because they are detrimental to the process, is not an uneducated opinion also caustic to the democratic process?
I accept the debate, as my opponent didn't make arguments first round neither will I. Though I will ask for my opponent to define the educational standard. One last note, I have dysgraphia so my grammar will probably be poor.
I hope we can have a good debate.
