Emotion manipulation equals votes
Debate Rounds (5)
The burden of proof is on Pro.
If EM = V, then V = EM. This does not logically follow because votes are not the manifestation of emotional manipulation. They also do not necessarily stem from emotional manipulation, but even if Pro could prove that they did, you still vote neg because he would be changing the resolution from EM = V to EM >>> V.
We can rewirte emotional manipulation equals votes as EM (emotional manipulation) = V (votes). If EM = V, then V = EM. This means that every single vote must necessarily be emotional manipulation, which Pro cannot show.
What Pro meant to write but didn't was that EM LEADS TO V, or EM yields V, or EM >>> V. However, he didn't. And EM doesn't yield ALL V, anyway.

Reasons for voting decision: Forfeiture, and Con's case wasn't really refuted. Pro also had several grammatical errors. A 5-1 mistake count.
