We have enough resources being inadequately used. It is high time for a change.

Collecting methane is a slow and difficult process even using anaerobic digestion. If you mean to use farts, then the technology required as well as the infrequency would make it a much more expensive process of production.

"Collecting methane is a slow and difficult process even using anaerobic digestion". Even I had this perception. I just finished working on a project on the production of methane and it's storage at home. I must say that it works without great maintenance cost and without encouring risks. We must know that methane is safer than LPG. Methane is more volatile. If you light a match surrounded by LPG (LPG stays at floor level) , you would be blown right away; this is not the case with methane (It does not just hang out there).
The speed and level of difficulty of producing and collecting methane depends on the process used. Most of the processes commonly described, though practical seem tedious to the average man. The best process, after our research and implementation , needs only space and is designed after Asia/Pacific Cultural Centre for UNESCO (ACCU)'s design for the collection of methane for a village. A reduced system of this is the best and very easy to set up, use and maintain. Some sources are given to awake curiosity and as an answer. The last source is worth seeing.

"If you mean to use farts, then the technology required as well as the infrequency would make it a much more expensive process of production". This is not a decent conduct. Reminds one of someone who asked how to produce methane at home on Yahoo!answers and got what he did not want... .

I think the contender ran out of time and it would be unkind to bring forth more arguments..... .

I have a feeling that pro created this debate as a trap for people who might think methane to be meth and accept the debate.

I think you mean to say methamphetamine, or meth, which is commonly used as a drug.
Methane is fart gas.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct for the forfeits. Arguments for Pro's unrebutted case. As always, happy to clarify this RFD.
