I believe that you can not prove evolution and that you have to have faith in order to believe in it. It is easier to believe in a God created universe then a universe that happened by chance.

Con

We have found skulls and bodily parts of ape-like creatures that we can find via carbon-dating how old it is and and their similarities they have to humans. While it may prove difficult to prove exactly the evolution of species sometimes, you can't just say that it is impossible to prove it when we have successfully been able to since the 1700's.

When the Con represented their rather fragmented argument, they said that they have been able to "Prove" evolution since the 1700's. This is unforuinatly untrue, because the face of evolution " Darwin" said in his own writing, that if certain key points in the evolutionists way of thinking was dis-proven that the whole system was flawed and untrue. This was obviously ignored and the broken and completely incorrect teaching of evolution was continued. Evolution has not been proven once, it has never been proven because the ignorant people themselves say that the Big Bang happened once, they say that a mixture of gases and in organic objects mixed and "Bang" everything we have on this earth, the earth itself, and the universe just happened. This is one of the most misguided and bluntly one of the stupidest things that they could have come up with. The theory of evolution has never been replicated, and their is little to absolutely no proof to help proof this theory. My biggest question is why are we teaching evolution as fact, although it is barely a hypothesis.

Do you want to debate whether evolution can be proven (scientifically, of course) or if the Christian views of the creation of human are more probable and plausible than evolution and abiogenesis? If the latter, I will probably accept.

You show the limits of your need for knowledge when you say "it is easier to believe". Many people confuse belief with faith. It's said that if you believe something, you must be taking it on faith. This is a denial of the fundamental distinction between reason and faith. It pretends that evidence for or against an idea is irrelevant. The more you know the less you believe.

Evolution and the creation of the universe are two different things.
