Con

2. Exercise damages the joints (exercise keeps off weight and a high weight damages joints more than exercise)
3. Exercise is stressful (exercise releases endorphins which counteracts stress so this point is wrong)
5. Exercise destroys diets (exercise works better than diets so there is no need for a diet if you exercise)
6. Exercise can cause diabetes ( no it can't it worsens diabetes but it can't cause it)
7. Exercise can break up families (there is no evidence for this point)
8. Exercise is associated with body perception disorders (no, people who don't exercise over estimate their weight if everyone exercised there would not be body perception disorders)
9. Exercise hurts the heart (no it strengthens the hearts rate)
10. Exercise is addictive (thats a good thing)

This argument is based on the negative affects of when people exercise OFTEN, so most of the counter points you gave are invalid. For example, (10) An addiction to exercise is actually very harmful to people. In a perfect world, any exercise would be healthy and would help make the world a better place. However, in the real world addiction to exercise can cause negative physical, mental, and social affects. In the scholarly article, 'Study on Exercise Addiction in the Real World' it is discussed that exercising often can cause sped up deterioration of the bones, which can lead to earlier cases of authority and increased difficulty performing certain activities with age more so than usual. Mentally, being addicted to exercise can cause self confidence issues. People who exercise often are known to obtain a mental disorder in which they make up in their minds a physical issue with their bodies. They will work and work to change the issue, but nothing will happen because the problem is not real. Socially, people who are addicted to exercise can become so obsessed that staying on routine with their schedules can eventually cause them to skip out on social activities and became an overall less social person. Overall, exercising often can lead to addiction which has many negative affects.
