Fallout New Vegas is an open play game with large places, many quests, and fun activities. You can gamble, fight enemies with weapons, special abilities, or physically, travel to wide open lands, do many quests, and many different varieties of guns. What makes this the best game is that is is unlike any other game you can fight creatures that no other video game has ever thought of, distinct weapons that annihilate other enemies, and distinct speeches. No other Video game can complete with the wide variety of things you can do in this game.

Although New Vegas is in fact "new" and impressive, it still matches no chance against the other video games of the world. For example, its former game, Fallout 3, is actually much better than New Vegas will ever be. When 3 came out, people saw how almost majestic its graphics were and the story was both creative and exciting. Compared to the Fallout games of the old, it was brilliant. People played it for years, even after New Vegas came out. Many had been excited about New Vegas due to 3's popularity, and flocked to video game stores to buy it from the shelves. However, they were met with disappointment. The graphics were the same as 3, and the game had not accomplished fixing its many bugs. The bugs in Fallout 3 were understandable, being such a new and complex game, but there was no excuse for New Vegas. New Vegas also had many of the same enemies as 3, such as the deathclaw, mole rat, and Brahmin among others. New versions were now called pups and calves, and thus was not very creative. One strange concept, which would have been agreeable if they were in this game, was the lack of radroaches. Simply, there were none. They were replaced by giant mantises, which is strange because the mantis in real life is endangered. Cockroaches of pre-war times have been proved to survive a nuclear apocalypse, and there were surprisingly none. Some areas such as the Strip, which avoided the bombs, are agreeable, but places like Boulder City are not. Whether it was because the radroaches in Fallout: Tactics were much different or the creators simply wished not to include this insect is unknown. New Vegas is both not creative and bland in its new features and methods.

When you say that it hadn't fixed many of its bugs, it is not an add-on. You can't fix add-ons to a game that happened before. Even though it indeed does have bugs, all games have bugs. The more complicated and complex a game is, the more bugs it has. Fallout 3 had much longer time to be made than New Vegas did. Due to the anticipatement of New Vegas it had to come out soon. Some bugs can only happen to some people and not be seen by others. There were probably a lot more bugs than you know about and updates fix many of the bugs that are reported. On the contrary, Fallout New Vegas does have Radroaches because I have indeed killed a few. Maybe you should play the game some more and look around and maybe you'll actually find some. Even though this is a Wikia, here is proof that there are Radroaches in Fallout New Vegas. http://fallout.wikia.com... If you look under Appearances you will see that they are indeed in New Vegas according to my witness account and this proof on a website. If it has no chance against any other games, why don't you name some others instead of the same predecessor of that game. The pups and calves give more of a realistic taste to the game. The game is pretty much saying that animals in Fallout can interbreed which they did not in Fallout 3. The more realistic a game is, the more people will like and relate to it. A game keeps many of the same creatures so that it won't be an entirely new game to someone who likes those creatures and want more of them and a greater variety of them. For example there were normal Deathclaws in Fallout 3 and no other kinds, in New Vegas, however, there are Baby Deathclaws, Deathclaws Alphas, Blind Deathclaws, and Legendary Deathclaws. These varieties give the player more of a challenge instead of the same, old, easy enemies from the previous game.

To end the radroach debate:
"does have Radroaches because I have killed a few."
Emphasis on the few.
The New Vegas players had anticipated the game, but I bet from the many bugs it had, they would have waited more so it could only have one or two. One bug I have encountered has sent me spiraling through the ground and somehow teleported me back to the entrance, so I am unable to enter the ground near the door I am trying to enter. In Fallout 3, bugs like this never occurred and it was an older game. It should have been the other way around. In the reviews for New Vegas, the players gave it a score .1 more than the press, suggesting that they all had the same thoughts about the games. New Vegas got a score of 8.5 on IGN.com and Fallout 3 got a 9.5. People had said that New Vegas looks like an add-on to Fallout 3 because of the many similarities it shares with the latter. Because of the Fallout games' complexity, it is difficult to name more games. I guarantee you, however, that more games will be created to compete with New Vegas. There are more popular games out there. When you hear people talking about video games, few have spoken of New Vegas itself, thus concluding its score.
The enemies in New Vegas may have more variety, but they still hold the same image as Fallout 3. As seen from the other Fallout games, there are many of the same and more types of deathclaws listed such as the hairy, experimental, and mother deathclaw. (There are no legendary deathclaws, there is only one, and it is the strongest enemy in the game). The many varieties are not only in New Vegas. As for the many types of new enemies, Van Buren, the canceled version of Fallout 3, had many more enemies such as the varieties of ghouls, giant leech, electro-beetle, panther, and many more. Van Buren came before even Fallout 3, and has more creative ideas than New Vegas itself.
In Fallout 3, there is a weapon called the alien blaster that is located near a crashed UFO. You can easily obtain it, and have a rare and powerful weapon at hand. In New Vegas, however, you have to get the trait wild wasteland to obtain this weapon, and unknowing players will not get this trait. Weapons also missed include the Abilene Kid LE BB gun and the holy frag grenade.
As for the realism of New Vegas, there is a creature called the Nightstalker or known before as a Reptile Dog. It is a creature spliced with coyote and rattlesnake DNA. How is it that this idea was created? Because they would be formidable foes? This is not a realistic idea, and how they are created is unknown. In Fallout 3, there are creatures called fire ants. True to name, these creatures breath fire. Dr. Lesko created their fire breathing ability when they he tried to change them to their former size but messed up their genetic code. Their creation is both creative and scientifically interesting due to the idea. The name is also comical, in a way.
