Title says it all.
I ask for a reason why we need feminism in the United States.
In what ways are women disadvantaged?

My guess is that my opponent is asking for an impact of a United States free of equal rights. The warrant is obvious.

His question has a simple answer, probably able to be found on any forum. Without an equal nation, we do not have equal voting and thus do not have a true democracy. Thus, I frame this debate so that my opponent must justify his claims with forfeiture of democracy.

Next, it hurts the economy. With restrictions on who can have what job, we ignore that we may not be accepting the best candidate. Except for obvious exceptions, such as male models, women can do their jobs just as well as men.

He asks how women are disadvantaged. I present the following wage gap graph from the Bureau of Labor Statistics:Wage Gap by gender by profession.

I thus urge a negative ballot.

They aren't disadvantaged that's the point. Feminism is not a movement for equality anymore but a movement to get women special privilege through the spread of false statistics and political correctness.
