North American festival revenues trebled started from $1.5 billion to a peak of $4.6 billion before receding a bit during the recession. Last year, festival revenues were $4.3 billion.
You want to take that out of the u.s. economy? Plus the community strength it creates?

Reasons for voting decision: I think that this was kind of a weird debate. It is unrealistic for all of festivals to be dispersed of. But I will give grammar to con just so its fair.
