I thank Con for accepting this debate.

Presentation

P1) There is light in our world, one reason would be because of the Sun.

P2) Sometimes, it rains.

P3) One rain droplet causes the Rainbow to appear.

P4) Black is not part of the Rainbow

P5) Therefore, for light, black is not a color

Defense of P1 and P2

These are obvious facts.

Defense of P3

Alright. Like said, one reason our world has light is because of the Sun. So, when it rains, one rain droplet would act like a prism and disperse (Split) the white light into its component colors, as white light (Sunlight, in particular) is composed of all the colors (Which emit light). Then, it refracts them, thus causing the Rainbow to appear. Each color is at a different angle too.

Defense of P4

This is also an obvious fact.

Defense of P5

From my defense of the 3rd premise, it validates this premise. Black is not part of the Rainbow, therefore it does not emit light, therefore, for light, black is not a color.

I await my opponent's set of arguments.
