I believe that schools should have more power over freedom of speech. The reason why is that, I mean think about it? If you are for freedom of speech in schools, you are saying that students can have the right to say anything they want. What if your child was going to a school with freedom of speech, but then got cyberbullied (for an example). They used mean words that hurt your child. If your school was against freedom of speech, the situation will never happen in the first place. They will punish the bullies for what they have said on the internet and towards your child, and it will help prevent from cyber bullying. However, what if the school didn't do anything about it, just because of the 'freedom of speech'? And because of this amendment, would you just let your child suffer? You are basically saying that any type of verbal or cyber bullying is allowed, and you are not going to force the school on not restricting anything on this situation, and going to let the students say anything to each other. I don't think this is just a situation of freedom of speech. I think that this is about how each individual student's lives are based upon social matters, and where someone saying something that harms and offends others. This is a situation that the students need our help in order to let them have a superior school and social life, and we need the power of freedom of speech in order to help.
