By this debate, I will take the definition of 'fundamentally' being,
'in central or primary respects.'
What I mean, is that, whether it is true or false in practice, the fundamental ideas of capitalism in general. We can take this as,
'an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state.'

Con will argue why, the idea of capitalism itself doesn't serve in the best interest of the country.

Rules are:

1) No forfeiting
2) No examples of how it has failed, unless it demonstrates why the idea isn't in the best interests of the country.
3) No ad hominem please.

And I hope for an enjoyable and thoughtful debate! 1st round is acceptance.

I apologize gravely, but I'm afraid I cannot meet this specific deadline in time. I have not forfeited, this is my round, in which I have failed. I will be back for round three and four, so please feel free to make your point and start the debate.

In most situations, I think they do. Only in extreme cases, the highest anomalies or situations of very grave moral peril, maybe there's some debate there, but generally I think so. On the small scale, yes, definitely. I can only give so much away, but I'm generally behind it.

Do you believe the ends always justify the means? Or just in one scenario

And I agree. I was thinking so anyway.

I suggest a much lower character limit.
