Real quick : citing sources is optional for both sides. Furthermore, one side cannot demand or question validity of a source if one is given.

I believe that "GIF" is pronounced with a soft g.
Beardon87

Con

I am arguing that "GIF" is pronounced with a hard G sound.

I should clarify;
If someone quotes CNN or Fox, it's not okay to say "your source is not credible on the grounds that it is biased"
Because regardless of whether or not you believe CNN is liberal or Fox is conservative, you can't use that as a reason to discredit a source. Sorry that's all I meant.

How can someone not question the validity of a source? If that's the case, someone could provide dozens of clearly faulty sources.

You mean to say that you think that GIF is pronounced JIFF, as in "I'll be back in a jiff?"
