God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve so gay marriage should be illegal

First off, you did pick the con side, but your title statement is negative, so i'll just assume that was a mistake, and not a double negative. I am agnostic, but for the sake of argument, we'll accept God.

To counter your round one argument, yes, God did make Adam and Eve. He also made quite a few men named Steve. God made quite a lot of gay people and doesn't seem to want to stop anytime soon.

On a side note, in Genesis, God seems quite content with just having created Man. Only after Adam is desperate for a companion and he turns down each animal God shows him does God finally make him a woman. That was pretty much based on Adam's personal preferences.

Even if you personally perceive homosexuality as a cardinal sin and an affront to your moral values, it doesn't mean that God loves them any less, or is somehow repulsed by their love. Acts 10:34 says God is not partial. He's far less petty than you could possibly imagine, and loves each of his children.

Reasons for voting decision: Both sides argued against their sides (Con argued it should, Pro argued it shouldn't). Therefore whoever presented the weaker argument wins. Since Con's argument was a non-sequitur, he wins.

Reasons for voting decision: Con simply stated a fact and made no arguments and forfeited first. Pro made an actual reference from the Bible.

Reasons for voting decision: in the one round he did present, he offered more points. Con just gave a one line sentence, that was not even a contention. Everything else tied, both lacked conduct due to multiple ffs
