Honestly I know that this is a free country...but we are a country under the laws of God and God created man and woman to wed...not man and man or woman and woman. It it not natural to have the same sex together because the point of marrige is to build a family. How can you recreate with the same sex???

Ok, first i would like to point out, I agree with you 100% personally
but i dont agree with you in America.

in the Vatican City, you would be correct. But the first amendment clearly dictates that the United States will play no part in religion. The under god claus you stated i believe in, but out government does not. So you can;t use the "God made" statement here

marriage is not specifically combined with reproduction. in regards to homosexuals, marriage has nothing to do with reproduction. marriage is a "civil union" and thus, simply an institute to display one's love to one another.

there is no reason why a man can not love another man. they want marriage to encompass them simply to be able to say we love each other enough to get married AND to receive benefits.

since marriage in teh united states MUST BE CIVIL UNION, not a religious establishment, homosexuals do not know why they can not partake.

we can not dictate love. therefore, we can not dictate who wants to get married. since there is no reason why a civil union is only heterosexual, there is no reason to not allow gay marriage.

Really? I didn't know that. Interesting! I guess you do learn something new everyday..

Talking about the beliefs of the guy who wrote it, by the way. Not about trusting socialists, hah.

the socialist part, of course, explains why we shouldn't listen to it :D

keep in mind the pledge was written by a christian socialist who would have that it absurd to refer to any non-christian god :D

Actually, the 'Under God' part is justa thiestic statement, no reference to Christianity. I do agree with your point on the separation of state and religion. It doesn't work to well (See Constantine's products)

how can you recreate with the same sex? That's why they call it recreation, its their fun and no business of yours :D.

Now if you want to talk about procreation, that's different.
