I will be taking the Pro/For Side of this argument. I have nothing against gays, I think they should have equal rights just like any man or woman. The first round is for accepting my challenge
Rules:
-You must provide evidence on why gay marriage should be/stay outlawed in the United States
-You cannot use text from religious documents, (The Bible, Torah, Book of Mormon, etc.) Nor can you use these documents for counter arguments

I will be interested in hearing your reasons

Gay marriage is messed up but if two dudes want to get married why not I mean nobody is stopping them. Except for that it is. Messed up they wouldn't have kids.

Well actually science has pretty much shown it is completely natural and not a choice. Plus, why can't we change the definition of marriage? All definitions change to adapt to cultural norms and there doesn't seem to be a reason to keep the traditional model in place.

Gay rights shouldn't be legal. It's not EVEN a marriage if it consists of two same sex. A marriage is a union of a man and WOMAN. Also, gays weren't born gay to begin with, so they had a choice to do the right thing. if they were born gay it would be because:
1. It is genetic (which it isn't, and people are using the genetic excuse to get civil rights because of how racism and ill-treatment to blacks was repelled because of civil rights.)
2. The person would have to be born with both a penis and a vagina, and with the confusion between boy and girl, the parents chose to keep the wrong one, in this case let's say it was a he, and as he developed, his hormones "acted up", making him believe that he has feelings for men.

Even if that was so, it completely disrupts the process of debate. Con took the opposing side but opened saying that they support it.

It doesn't make sense at all, I suppose Daisy1234 was mistaken about the side positioning.

Maybe it's just that apparent Gay Marriage should be legal. Both sides are unanimous in deciding this.
