I saw your comment "Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve". Considering science proves the bible wrong and the bible and all of Christianity proves itself wrong then using information from there in my opinion is unethical. Science has showed a gene is passed on trough our DNA that makes a person gay, proven fact. Not saying culture and environment can't have an effect, but in most cases a gene can be the main reason. Also, if your God is the all loving and accepting, then why does he shun love? Why would he be against love?

ok well as that may be true along with everything else yes it most certainly is a gene that can be semi passed on but it is also more a choice then a hereditary trait. as science may have proven the bible wrong it doesnt matter as many people dont know that science proves the bible wrong in many different ways even as ones who do know that it proves it wrong they overlook it so easily i mean in my opinion gay marriage is legal only to stop the controversey and potentially lead to a collapse in govt. later on the future i hate to bring politics into this but it is neccessary seeing as how the govt. gained more respect by passing the right of gay marriage rather than striking it down and banning it it is more of a states choice more than a nation/countries choice. but i do see your point of view of it to but like i said its more of a choice of mind than a hereditary trait passed on.

Gayness is not genetic, it may have genetic factors, but why then after billions of years of evolution would a trait that obviously inhibits reproduction stay in a gene code.
