EVerybody is a person. No matter of your sexuality, race, or religion. It is unfair to homosexuals to not be able to be get married. Marriage is not just for procreation, many heterosexuals that get married do not have children. This is an unfair ruling and should be changed. In the Bible, no where does it say that gay marriage is a sin.

I accept you debate. Throughout the Bible, homosexuality is stated. Jesus never personaly said anything about it but his apostles did clearly.

  • Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

  • Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them."

  • 1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, norevilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

  • Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."

@cwt002 Oh, I was thinking that instead of using the bible, then they should try using legit sources.

People think all these things are wrong but, they don't take into account that being homosexual is just as bad.

In the bible it says, " Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicaters, nor idolaters, nor adulters, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. " ( 1 corinthians chapter 6 verse 16 )

How is the logic absurd @PapaNolan. First, I never said it was about the Bible. What I am saying is that it seems like CON is using the Bible because PRO brought it up first. PRO's statement about the Bible and homosexuality was false, CON proved that. Right now with only the first round done we could say that the only reason the Bible was used is because PRO brought it up, which made it relevant to address in CON's argument.

@cwt002 Your logic is absurd! This debate is about gay rights, not the Bible.

It will be legal marriage, but that'll be a nasty soul-tie & unnatural unity.

@RepublitariansUnite - One aspect of debating is disproving your opponents statement. Pro made a statement 1st about the Bible that was false and con did just that. Con needed to use it because of Pro said mentioned the Bible in the beginning.

I wouldn't exactly use the Bible as evidence in this debate. I'm leaning pro...

Did you even read the debate so far, honestly. The last comment pro made was that, in the Bible no where does it say gay marriage is a sin. Well, the Bible does not say anything about gay marriage but it does talk about homosexuality ( you can not separate the two issues) which con illustrated. All he did was disprove something pro said.

I mean come on did you really read the debate fully this far or just cherry pick after you saw Bible verses.

If con keeps commenting like this, then pro has it in the bag.
