Pro

History should be honest.
Satanta

Con

History cannot be male and homosexual because it is a concept that does not physically exist. Therefore, "gay history" cannot be taught at school.

I suggest Pro actually define 'gay history' in the next round.

Pro

I believe that it should be taught in history books itself, along with Martin Luther King Jr., and along with Rosa Parks. I believe that it would open the eyes of people, give a better idea of what the LGBT community is, and possibly end hate crimes executed on homosexuals. Discrimination and homophobia need a breaking point.
Satanta

Con

I see. Then I agree with Pro.

The struggle of homosexuals through out history stretches back far beyond even the persecution of colored people in the US(as well as the world in general), and still are not properly represented in history classes, hopefully this will be taught as the millennial generation passes on.

The only reason why this isn't already taught is because of they are a"less-in-abundance" minority than colored groups and that a large chunk of the population is still homophobic. I don't think that it should be given equivalency to the struggle of colored people in the US, as it didn't affect as large a volume of people as the fight for colored rights did. Overall historical topics should be dictated in priority of cultural/world significance. It still deserves its fair share of covering in history classes

Please give arguments. Your personal beliefs are indeed interesting but not enough to build a case

Who had better conduct:--Vote Checkmark1 point

Reasons for voting decision: Both sides had good grammar and conduct. Neither side used any sources of information. Con gave a decent rebuttal then gave up after that? Pro's argument was far from convincing and illogical. So neither had a good debate or was able have a decent argument.
