Con

Gay marraige should not be legalised becouse its against Nature's law.
Gay marraige will reduce sex ratio & will cause many more problems.
TrustmeImlying

Pro

Gay marriage should be legalized, and does not violate "Nature's Law".

There is no natural law to sexual reproduction.

Many things we consider wrong such as killing others, rape, and theft occur in nature on a daily basis, but are not against the law due to being "natural"

gay marriage will have no effect on ratio's as the couples in question wouldn't have participated in straight marriages anyway.

"Many more problems" are not mentioned, as we only had five minutes to compose our arguments.

People that are gay should not change they are born that way and should be treated like civil beings all of this not treating gays like people goes against the constitution because it states that every man shall be treated equal but they're no being treated the right way

Reasons for voting decision: pro addresses con's reasons against gay marriage by explaining that "natural law" is not a reason to keep something illegal, as well as explaining that the sex ratio will be unnaffected since straight couples are unnaffected. One round debates are awful because con almost always will win, given that pro has no chance to further build up their initial statements. Though, I feel like pro probably would have lost a longer debate due to the weaknesses in his arguments.

Reasons for voting decision: Burden of proof not satisfied. I have no reason to believe that gay marriages are against "Nature's Law".
