Many people believe that genetically modified foods (GMF) produce more, therefore can solve the problem with world hunger. They would be wrong. GMF's are not available to everyone especially developing countries. When a government is beginning to grow a successful country, money is scarce and GMF's are extremely expensive. There would be no way that an initiating country could afford the amount of food they need to survive through biotechnology companies (companies that produce GMF's). Since the older countries would be able to pay off the money to accept GMF's, the gap between rich and poor would grow wider, causing social issues throughout the world. Not to mention that GMF's have an insane amount of health risks, which cannot solve world hunger and poverty, but instead make it worse by killing off a population. Also, the law for labeling GMF's is not consistent. In the UK the labeling scheme is strict. Every genetically modified product has a label on it, whereas in the US not many people are even aware that they're food is modified. The system is nonexistent, causing people to be unaware of the consequences of the products.

Genetically mutated foods, or GMF"s, in a nutshell, are quicker and easier to produce. Therefore, it is in a higher supply. With a higher supply, comes a lower demand for the product. The lower the demand, the lower the price in the area they are grown. Genetically mutated foods are produced in mass amounts which makes it a lot easier to distribute to other countries for lower prices. Genetically mutated foods are useful towards third world countries providing a stable food source for a low price. Ethically genetically mutated foods are helpful towards the poor and the country that is producing them as well.

As stated in the last round, GMF's are extremely toxic to the human body. People growing the seeds that are genetically modified or mutated must put some sort of chemical in it in order to see the expected outcome. Many people believe that the chemicals are not toxic to the human body, but they are. Scientists insert a gene into a host that may not be compatible with that particular chromosome, which leads to unpredictable signs creating extremely toxic products. Not all health risks are even shown until later stages, as it would be for someone who ate unhealthy all the time. One of the main effects that GMF's have on the body are damages on the reproductive system. The toxins effect the endocrine gland which causes disturbances on human placental cells, leading to many birth defects. The woman carrying the child usually experiences premature births or miscarriages, later leading to infertility. Also, GMF's are resistant to herbicides, which will increase the use of them, in a desperate act to rid farms of GMF's. The increase of herbicide is the root of the mass outbreak of global warming.
