I think ghosts are real, but they won't try to kill you or pull you under the bed or throw a television at you. The reason for this is because they do not have enough mass. You see, a man named Duncan MacDougall conducted a study about the weight of the soul, which has now been popularized as roughly 21 grams. However, Augustus P. Clarke found a fault in MacDougall's study: your body temperature rises just before death because your lungs can no longer maintain your blood's temperature, and the sweat glands could easily make up for the 21 grams lost before death. However, this is still debatable; some say that it's perspiration, others say that it's electricity. Which brings me to the reason why ghosts don't have enough mass to be the stereotypical Hollywood "scary phantoms". Ghosts are said to be made of electricity, which can manipulate copper, lighting, etc., but not human beings, which is why you can't see them. Also, according to Long Island Medium (which I don't believe in except for this piece of advice), there is such a thing as a cranky ghost, but you can just ask a dead family member to tell them to leave you alone. After all, they're just dead humans who were mad when they were alive. Plus, many things that can kill or revive you, such as tazers and defibrillators, are electricity-based.

First off the concept of a soul is an abstract concept. As an abstract concept, souls cannot maintain regular bodily functions. Souls do not hold anything. They cannot hold electricity because there would be nothing to conduct the flow of electrons. As a man of science, Augustus P. Clarke research on the concept of souls is very contradictory to his field of science. As I researched him, I came across his obituary that stated he was ill in his last years of research and practice; therefore, we could not conclude that his research is valid when it was performed when his mental state was deluded. Many sources pin the ratio of all species in the history of the earth that are now extinct at around 99.9%. That"s all species. So it would stand to reason that the ratio of all living things that are now dead is, well, significantly higher to say the least. So where are all of the ghosts? If orders of magnitude more things died on this rock that are currently living, where are their disembodied spirits? Shouldn't"t we be knee deep in ghosts of all shapes in sizes? Everything from dinosaurs to insects a yard long, to prehistoric man.

That is true; if ghosts do exist, they flood the earth. But there is also evidence of ghosts everywhere, although there are also hoaxes. You see, I have personally met an author named Kelly Milner Halls and she has told me about her experiences in haunted houses. She has also used dowsing rods in hopes to communicate with ghosts. In one haunted house, she has been able to hear ghosts' voices through a device. Of course, you must think that it is fake, but the ghost in question said their names specifically. And as for the dowsing rods... she asked the ghost if she should write a book about ghosts, and the rods crossed. Then she asked the ghost to uncross the rods, and he or she did so. And once they left the haunted house, they were cold, although it was summer and they were in a hot, humid place. Just look around... there are signs of ghosts everywhere. :)

It's an author who is clearly trying to get more publicity or credibility for her books. Wouldn't you think she would try to warp the actual experience in order to gain that credibility? It's called yellow-journalism. This person makes up stories for a living. How can we conclude that it is the truth. Your argument is invalid because your evidence is tainted.

She is, in fact, a very credible source. She said that sure, you can't exactly tell a person that ghosts are real when you don't know for sure, but you can't tell them that they don't exist if you don't have proof either. Do you have a reliable source or photos to prove that ghosts aren't real that you know for sure is a credible source?

Kelly used the dowsing rods while she was talking in order to prove her argument, and she couldn't have made up stories like those right off the bat! You can learn more about her on her website, www.wondersofweird.com.
Also, she created a book called Ghostly Evidence all about ghosts after four years of careful research from reliable sources. She said researching is like a videogame, and used her book Albino Animals as an example. Level 1: you find out that the albino salamander's body can repair its leg if you hurt it/break it/step on it. Level 2: you find out that it can also repair its internal organs. You beat the videogame when you find out how it affects humans, but I won't get into all that.
You can order Ghostly Evidence here and see how all of Kelly's research paid off. (http://www.amazon.com...)
And finally, here are the reviews to her book, just to see why I used her as a source: (http://www.wondersofweird.com...) You can also see videos about ghosts.
I guess that sums up my final argument. Your turn, "The Terminator".
